Our traditional Methods
We maintain the highest welfare standards for our poultry. Our free range birds roam throughout the day in open meadow land. All our birds are slow maturing traditional breeds which are raised to full maturity. They are fed on a balanced cereal and vegetable diet that contains no growth promoting additives or antibiotics .
We use traditional, centuries-old production methods, our birds are hand plucked and hand finished before being hung to mature for a minimum of ten days.
Selecting traditional slow-growing stock which is grown to maturity. (Many other Poultry are only about 10 weeks old when they are slaughtered, and the meat hasn't had time to develop its proper texture.) Rearing our poultry in the most welfare-friendly environment - whether they are barn-reared or free range. Our Poultry are fed natural foods and never given antibiotics or other additives for growth promotion. Everything is done to ensure our Birds enjoy a stress-free life.

We have an extensive range of speciality sausages sausage meat scuffing and specialty pies many of them are award winners they include :-
Plain Pork, Wild Boar & Venison, Pork & Honey (Gluten Free), Cumberland ,Thumper,
Farmhouse Wharfedale, Tomato, Lamb & Rosemary, Masham
And Plain Beef.
Also an extensive range of award winning large Pork Pies and Cooked Meats
We have an unequalled range of Pork Beef lamb and game for your Christmas feast.
All are locally produced and traditionally fed , are hung for not less than ten days prior to cutting and preparation.
Any weight or cut of meat can be
prepared upon request to full fill your own requirements.
